On Gear Live: 2024 Nissan Z Nismo Review

Lauren Conrad loves to gossip!Set to appear in an upcoming episode of ABC Family’s Greek, reality star Lauren Conrad has spilled the beans on a guilty pleasure of hers: Gossip Girl.

“I love Gossip Girl. I just love it. It’s so gossipy and superficial. It’s amazing,” Conrad said, obviously never one to try be above such silly things, considering her

role

life on MTV’s The Hills.

Then again, fans of the “fashion designer” shouldn’t get their hopes up—Conrad took it back: “I probably wouldn’t want to see myself on there because it would ruin it for me. I like watching other people get gossiped about. It makes me feel better.”

How profound you are, Lauren!

No peace and quiet in Hollywood!

MTV cannot simply settle for irking television viewers like myself with their silly reality shows. They apparently have to frustrate poor Hollywood resident civilians, too.

Filming their prized “reality” stint, The Hills cast and crew have wreaked havoc among their Hollywood neighbors.

As if the unwanted paparazzi crews are not enough of a nuisance, the filming crew apparently takes up most of the street with their equipment trucks, leaving bright lights shining on the house until late at night when the socialites are not even home!

Not surprisingly, despite these and many more claims, an MTV spokesperson defends the production: “MTV is in accordance with all required production permits, and is working with the city of Los Angeles to assist it with neighborhood concerns that have been raised.”

They sure are good liars over there at MTV.

Brody Jenner is on the hunt for bromanceFans of MTV’s “reality show” The Hills have reason to rejoice this week.

The show’s star, Brody Jenner has just been given his own MTV show, titled Bromance, where he plans to invite male contestants who “will compete in various group and individual activities that will test their trust, reliability, and compatibility” with him.

Sounds a little too much like Paris Hilton’s upcoming show, no?

Jenner will also be working as the executive producer for show with none other than…

The Hills

MONDAY (12/10)
  • (ABC, 8pm):  “Linus and Lucy’s little brother, Rerun, hangs with Snoopy and his own sibling, the desert-dwelling Spike.”  Was I the only one not aware of the What’s Happening!/Peanuts crossover episode?
  • (CBS, 8pm):  “Ted asks his doctor on a date and his friends try to discourage him from dating someone he sees regularly.”  Relationships clearly work best when you never see them at all.

The Hills

I felt so bad for Lauren last night.  Her boss had her take a red-eye flight to New York City to deliver a dress for Fashion Week.  Once the dress arrived in New York they sent Lauren directly home to Los Angeles.  She wasn’t even allowed to watch the fashion show!  How unfair is that!?  I think that Lauren’s boss did this just to prove that she has authority over her.  It seems ridiculously unfair after all of Lauren’s hard work, but maybe this will all pay off for her in the end.

Heidi also had her share of trouble at work this episode.  Gradually she is beginning to realize that it might take her longer to get her dream job then she originally anticipated.  It’s also going to take a lot more dirty work to get the dream job as well, such as stuffing envelopes and getting her boss sandwiches.  Heidi’s boss is catching on to the fact that she believes she’s too good for the dirty work and he stays on her back about it.  Heidi should have taken Lauren’s advice and stayed at the Fashion Institute.  If she stayed in school she might not have had to start at the very bottom of the P.R. firm.
